Description:
Designed for compact van conversions, the Tec Vanlife Ultra Low Profile Shower Pan allows a shower area to be added without permanently taking away valuable floor space. The shallow pan can be recessed into the vehicle floor and covered when it is not in use.
The reversible bamboo cover serves two purposes. One side provides a finished walking surface, while the other side features a stainless steel rim that secures magnetic shower curtain weights. The slotted bamboo surface allows water to pass through and drain into the shower pan.
The off center drain is positioned for common installation locations in Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, and Ram ProMaster vans, including beside the sliding door, ahead of the driver side wheel well, and near the rear doors. Final placement will depend on the vehicle layout and floor construction.
Installation Tip: Van and expedition vehicle floors are often uneven. We recommend applying low expansion spray foam between the bottom of the shower pan and the vehicle floor to provide additional support, stability, and thermal insulation.
