Your Sprinter did not come with a dipstick, but the dipstick tube is already there. Mercedes-Benz recommends checking oil through the onboard electronics, yet many owners prefer to check the oil level manually and change their oil before the 20,000-mile service interval.

This is the correct Mercedes-Benz dipstick for V6 diesel Sprinter engines. Installation is simple: remove the factory plug from the dipstick tube and insert the dipstick.
