What to know before ordering
This is the remote-control Plus model with a manual-opening lid — you open and close the lid by hand; the remote runs the 10-speed fan (intake and exhaust) and the built-in rain sensor closes the lid automatically if it rains. It does not have a thermostat. Standard 14 x 14 in roof cutout, smoke-tint lid, 2-year limited warranty. It also runs with the lid closed to circulate air inside the van.
Plus or Deluxe?
If you want a thermostat and a power-opening lid, step up to the MaxxFan Deluxe 7500K at $299 — it adds both, and it is the fan we sell most. If you prefer the white lid and do not need the rain sensor, the MaxxFan Plus 4000K White Dome is $229.
