Easy to install on the roof of any vehicle, it is discreet from the outside and attractive from the inside. You only need to connect the positive and negative poles of the battery and with a 500 amp house battery bank, you can achieve up to 10 hours of continuous operating time!
Extremely energy efficient 12 volt DC (battery-powered) alternative to traditional, 120 volt AC rooftop air conditioner units.

Fitment and installation
This is a low-profile rooftop unit: about 38.2 x 33.8 in and only 6.5 in tall, roughly 90 lb. One caution before you cut anything: the published minimum hole size appears in two places on this page and the figures do not agree (320 x 640 mm in one spec list, 14 x 14 in in another). Email us before ordering — as the note at the top asks — and we will confirm the exact cutout for the current version before you commit to a hole. The kit is complete for a self-install: the unit arrives with 11 ft of wiring already connected, plus an additional 11 ft harness, an 80A fuse, ring terminals, foam gasket, mounting brackets and extensions, LED lighting wires, hardware, remote, a cutting template, and the manual. Shroud (White or Black) and interior panel (White or Matte Black) are chosen when you order. We have installed several of these in our own shop and are happy to answer fitment questions before you buy.
Power planning
Straight 12V DC, no inverter. Draw depends on compressor speed and blower setting: roughly 22–34A in Eco/low, up to about 54A at maximum. Power consumption runs 380–750W across the range. The manufacturer cites up to 10 hours of continuous runtime on a 500Ah house bank; in practice, size your bank from the draw table above for the speeds you will actually run. Three cooling modes (manual, automatic, ECO), three fan speeds, and temperature displayed in Fahrenheit on the current US version.
